Hanneke, Karols wife. (Karol is the organiser of this residency) and her friend Marijke came to visit me today. They were such wonderful company. So witty and full of wonderful stories about life. Marijke is the vice president of Res Artis. (http://www.resartis.org). So she knew a lot about residencies and art. We had lunch and discussed many things about the world. It was wonderful to be speaking to two very wise women, about what i am doing and about life. They made me laugh so much with their banter. It was good for me to show them my new work and tell them about my ideas which they seemed to really appreciate. I really hope i meet these two again.
